Linux Infrastructure Engineer ISRAEL/Europe (Strong Middle, Senior)

Within these teams, the Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, automating, and deploying production-grade services on behalf of our customers to a variety of public clouds such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure​. Cloud Engineers work alongside our Solutions Architects to ensure our project deliverables meet stakeholders’ needs while upholding Our standards for quality and operational maturity.

Key responsibilities

• Deployment and infrastructure
• Remotely install, configure, and harden Linux servers across diverse client environments
• Deliver reliable and repeatable infrastructure blueprints for store deployments
• Support expansion from pilot sites to large scale rollouts across multiple regions
• Networking and secure connectivity
• Design, implement, and maintain secure WireGuard based VPN connectivity for stores
• Configure routing, firewall policies, network segmentation, and related services
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity problems across client networks and Trigo systems
• Configure and operate software based firewalls, with clear documentation for fleet visibility
• Work hands on with Juniper firewalls and Juniper switches in client environments
• Support Aruba networking solutions, including Aruba switches, Aruba Central, and Mist managed wireless where applicable

Automation and scale

• Build tools and scripts to automate server provisioning and configuration
• Standardize deployment workflows to reduce manual effort and error rates
• Improve observability and control for distributed infrastructure at scale

Operations and support

• Serve as an escalation point for tier 2 and tier 3 technical support issues
• Collaborate with R and D, deployment managers, and product teams to streamline onboarding and rollout readiness
• Drive root cause analysis and implement durable fixes for field issues

Required qualifications

• Strong experience administering Linux systems in production environments
• Strong networking fundamentals, including routing, VLANs, firewalling, NAT, DNS, and network troubleshooting
• Proven experience with WireGuard or similar VPN technologies
• Hands on experience configuring and troubleshooting Juniper firewalls and switches
• Hands on experience with Aruba networking, including switching and wireless, and cloud managed platforms such as Aruba Central and Mist
• Scripting and automation skills, Bash and Python preferred
• Experience deploying and supporting infrastructure remotely across distributed sites
• Ability to work effectively with client IT teams and operate within enterprise constraints

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with configuration management or infrastructure as code, such as Ansible
• Background in edge deployments, retail environments, IoT, or large distributed fleets
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems for operational scale
• Experience standardizing configurations across mixed vendor networks
