Middle Python

Our client seeks a Middle Python Software Engineer for social-network development projects using Python 3.8, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Connexion, Swagger, Docker, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.

If you have:

— At least 2 years of experience;

— Python 3 knowledge;

— Knowledge of Django, Flask, Tornado or webapp2;

— SQL knowledge;

— Application test-automation knowledge and skills using unittest, pytest or Selenium;

— OOP and design-pattern knowledge, including the work of Erich Gamma and Martin Fowler; 

— Application refactoring knowledge and skills based on Martin Fowler’s work;

We would like you to join us!

A major plus:

— UML knowledge;

— Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform experience;

— Docker knowledge;

— Intermediate written English with correct grammar and spelling;

— Swagger knowledge;

— Knowledge of domain-driven design principles, following Eric Evans.

Software Engineer responsibilities:

— Develop web service functionality from specifications and architectures;

— Integrate external web services;

— Integrate databases;

— Cover applications with automated tests;

— Debug web applications and fix defects.

About the projects

This is not an outstaffing project: technical decisions are made within the company.

Project requirements have been developed and approved, minimizing unexpected, chaotic changes.

A complete team includes a technical consultant or lead developer, Project Manager, frontend developer, backend developer and QA Engineer, enabling software engineers to focus on development.

Projects must be covered by automated tests. We have extensive test-automation experience and reusable resources.

About the office

The office is in central Kharkiv. 

Distance from metro stations:

• Arkhitektora Beketova: 300 meters, a 4-minute walk;
• Istorychnyi Muzei: 550 meters, a 7-minute walk;
• Sovietska: 700 meters, a 9-minute walk.

Separate office rooms accommodate no more than 6 people, providing a quiet, comfortable environment.
